Artwork Information
I visited the Macdonnell Ranges recently with another artist and we painted and photographed the amazing scenery. I have been there quite a few times and it always leaves me amazed at the beautiful contrasts between the blue, blue sky, the red rocks and the white ghost gums. I have tried to portray this lovely scenery in this painting and if you have ever been there, you will recognise those elements. This particular painting of the area was inspired by Ormiston Gorge. This painting is professionally framed with anti-reflective museum grade glass, a bevelled edge mat and a timber frame. It would make a lovely reminder of our amazing Red Centre.
