This textured, harmonious diptych was inspired by my walks around the lake and the beautiful light on the water.  It is an impression which may mean different things to different people.  It is painted on raw linen which gives the painting a softer look to the colours and it would be a stunning piece in any room.  The two paintings are finished with three coats of archival varnish and are  ready to hang together to make a long interesting artwork.
