This small Outback painting was inspired by the wonderful gorges just out of Alice Springs.  This one is Standley Chasm also know by its traditional name of Angkerle Atwatye, which means Gap of Water.  It is an important cultural site or Arrernte women.  The painting was created with many layers of earthy colours over a very textured base.  It would be a lovely reminder of your travels in the wonderful Outback.
