This painting was inspired by many picnics taken by the edge of the Lake and the beautiful light shining on the water.   Quite often people launch their kayaks and canoes nearby and enjoy the peace and quiet whilst paddling on the lake.  It is a very scenic spot on the way to the Everglades.   The painting is very textured and has many layers of different colours.
