This abstract painting was inspired by the wonderful large trees as I walk in the forests.  In these tumultuous times it is lovely to be able to walk in such peaceful surroundings and this is a metaphor for staying grounded and keeping in touch with our roots.  It is painted with many layers of beautiful colours over a very textured ground.  It would suit any room and the colours are very harmonious and peaceful.
