I often go out in the early morning with my camera and wander in the mangroves looking for interesting birds and small creatures.  This particular morning I heard a slight sound behind me and turned quietly and there was this beautiful Kingfisher so close I had to step back to take a photo.  I often see them in the distance but was thrilled to be so close.  This is a colourful and textured painting of the beautiful little bird and would fill a small space with warmth and colour.
