I live near the beach and the reflections are amazing early in the morning on a calm day. These reflections were the inspiration for this series of paintings. I have used clear bright colours which remind me of the sea and blended them with a palette knife to give the impression of reflections on water.  The Silver Gulls are always wandering around at the edge of the sea and so I placed them into this background.   The painting has thick sides 5cm deep and is finished with three coats of Archival Varnish. It is ready to hang.
