The beautiful Magnolias are flowering and I can see them from my kitchen window. I just had to paint one so I put lots of texture on my canvas, flowed some beautiful colours onto the surface and worked them over the canvas until I was happy with the outcome. I then painted the lovely Magnolia over the background leaving lots of texture to show through. The result is a very harmonious painting that would be very soothing in any room. The artwork is finished with three layers of archival varnish and is ready to hang.
