This lovely little painting is an impression of the wonderful cloud formations at the head of Lake Wakatipu.  The clouds hover above the ground and finally dissipate as the day warms up.  The Head of the Lake is a beautiful area full of mountains, streams and grassy fields with grazing cattle.  This would be a lovely reminder of the area.
