Mixed Media on Cradled Timber Art Panel finished with three coats of Archival Varnish. Ready to Hang.
This colourful, textured painting was inspired by the lovely South Island Robins who hop about the floor of the Beech Forests in the Lakes District. They are very inquisitive and will sometimes hop onto your boots if you keep very still. This is my impression of the lichen and the bark on the beech trees and the very cute Robin. It would be an excellent reminder of your visit to the South Island.
