I see these remarkable mountains every time I drive into town.  They constantly amaze me with all their various moods.  This morning the clouds were still hovering over the lake so I stopped to take yet another photograph.  I completed this long painting with many techniques to achieve the impression I wanted to show and finished it with three coats of archival varnish.  It is a soft, misty painting which would give the feeling of bringing the outside in.
